The stone built, former croft house, Heatherbank, is situated on the Stoer Peninsula in Assynt, Sutherland. This is an area designated as a National Scenic Area. A drive of approximately two hours from Inverness through ever more stunning scenery takes you to Heatherbank.
The house enjoys an elevated position with near views over Loch Na Claise and distant views east to the mountain range of Quiniag and west over the Minch to Lewis.

A ten minute stroll from the house takes you to Balchladich beach and a ten minute drive, to several other beaches and beauty spots.
Lochinver which is a fifteen minute drive away provides shops, post office, petrol station and restaurants.
